An exciting chance for you to sing one of the greatest choral works ever written!
The Musical Director of the Adelaide Philharmonia Chorus, Aldis Sils, invites experienced singers, especially tenors and basses, to join the choir to perform Brahms’ German Requiem (Ein Deutsches Requiem) on Saturday August 24, 2024, in Elder Hall.
Interested applicants will be required to audition on Tuesday May 7 at Cynthia Poulton Hall, North Adelaide (behind St Peter’s Cathedral) and sing their part from the final section of movement IV “Wie lieblich sind deine Wohnungen” (“How Lovely are Thy dwellings”). (PDF copy supplied on application).
If successful, you will join the choir during the rehearsal period (June - August) until the concert. A fee of $110. ($95 Concession card holder, $30 F/T student) will cover score hire, administration,and insurance costs.

Adelaide Philharmonia Chorus again participated in Carols by Candlelight in Elder Park. Look out for us in the broadcast by Channel 7 on Christmas Day.
